The Miracle Comes After Your Faith

Image
HOLA TODOS! It's a short one this week, I promise I'll write more later.  Antonio finally got baptized and I'm in a trio! I would like to share something my mission president told me this week that really got my attention. He said: 'The miracle comes after the trial of our faith. But we don't always know what the miracle is." I loved this because it reminded me to keep going with faith, knowing that there will always be a miracle, we just have to recognize it! I love you all and I hope all is well! Remember to say your prayers!! Talk to you soon!

The Lords House

Primero, antes que nada, quiero decir ¡feliz día de independencia! ¡VIVA MEXICO! Today is Mexican Independence Day. We haven't done much to be honest. It was a tender moment and the room filled with good feelings.  I also had the opportunity to go to the temple again on Saturday! It was absolutely beautiful and there, I received a lot of answers. I left on a cloud, knowing that the Lord was with me.  This ...

Like A River

This week was full of ups and downs. I learned more about the meaning of faith, had some cake, jammed my toe, went to stake conference and counted my many blessings.  We started off well, fixing a few problems and we headed into the week with a lot of enthusiasm. We were able to see progress with a few people we are teaching. We were excited because  Antonio accepted a baptismal date again and everything seemed to be going well. We saw little miracles throughout the week.  On Tuesday, we ate lunch with a sister who taught us how to make gorditas veracruzanas. We helped mixing the dough and pinching the gorditas to give them their shape. That is the hardest part! You have to pinch them right as they come off of the stove and, needless to say, you got to be quick or you burn your fingers doing it. We laughed and learned a lot from her wonderful testimony she shared about God answering prayers. We sure did leave smiling.  On Wednesday we decided to t...
