See Ya CCM
We've arrived.
It's officially my last P-Day here in the CCM. I feel like I've been here my whole life and also only for a week. It's a weird time distortion. Anyway...I don't have a ton of time to write this week (as per usual) but I'll do my best.
You guys. In the simplest way I can say it, the Lord is real and He really knows you. I've always heard people say "You can see the Lord's hand in your life" and I've always said "Yeah, I believe that." Well, now, I'm here to tell you that I KNOW with full sincerity of my heart the reality of that statement. I've noticed it in every way, shape and form I think a person can. From being ridiculously sick, frustrated with the language, loving every minute of teaching, and any other time you could possibly think of, He is there and He really does know you.
The simplest example for me is in every hard, rough, seemingly "terrible" day I've had, the Lord has sent me a storm. I know that sounds weird, but let me explain. He also knows what comforts my soul and brings me so much comfort. I can't explain it to you because I feel as if it was for me, it's something you have to learn for yourself.
I've thought a lot this week about that as well, how important it is to learn for yourself. It is the only way you'll make it through anything is by learning to rely on the Savior. It's like my branch president said the other night as he welcomed the new missionaries here. How can you expect to take an investigator to the Sacred Grove if it's a place you've never been yourself? How can you expect to take or accompany your investigators to the Cross or to Calvary if it's a place you've never been yourself? I had never thought about it that way until last night. Oh, how important it is to learn for yourself. It doesn't mean it will be easy but it will definitely be worth it.
Oh, I leave for Juarez on Monday...wish me luck and the help of the Lord.
I don't have much time to write much else but thank you so very much, each and everyone of you, for being who you are and living every second of every day. You're all amazing and I can't believe how unbelievably lucky I am to have your love and support. You mean the world to me.
I love you. God loves you. Don't ever forget it.
