Looks Like Idaho
Hola queridos :)
This week, we experienced what can only be called, well, a very humbling week.
This week we struggled a lot with finding people to teach. When we finally found them, they didn't progress. Needless to say, I learned a lot about being humble and working hard. We learned that we need to do all we can and then the rest is in the Lord's hands.
This Sunday in Sacrament Meeting was pretty good. We sang Asombro Me Da and it just hit home. Under the hymn, it referenced a scripture in Mosiah 3 that I quite liked.
5 For behold, the time cometh, and is not far distant, that with power, the Lord Omnipoten t who reigneth, who was, and i s from all eternity to all ete rnity, shall come down from he aven among the children of men , and shall dwell in a taberna cle of clay, and shall go fort h amongst men, working mighty miracles, such as healing the sick, raising the dead, causin g the lame to walk, the blind to receive their sight, and th e deaf to hear, and curing all manner of diseases.
6 And he shall cast out devils , or the evil spirits which dw ell in the hearts of the child ren of men.
7 And lo, he shall suffer temp tations, and pain of body, hun ger, thirst, and fatigue, even more than man can suffer, exc ept it be unto death; for beho ld, blood cometh from every po re, so great shall be his angu ish for the wickedness and the abominations of his people.
8 And he shall be called Jesus Christ, the Son of God, the F ather of heaven and earth, the Creator of all things from th e beginning; and his mother shall be called Mary.
9 And lo, he cometh unto his o wn, that salvation might come unto the children of men even through faith on his name; and even after all this they shal l consider him a man, and say that he hath a devil, and shal l scourge him, and shall cruci fy him.
10 And he shall rise the third day from the dead; and behold , he standeth to judge the wor ld; and behold, all these thin gs are done that a righteous j udgment might come upon the ch ildren of men.
11 For behold, and also his bl ood atoneth for the sins of th ose who have fallen by the tra nsgression of Adam, who have d ied not knowing the will of Go d concerning them, or who have ignorantly sinned.
12 But wo, wo unto him who kno weth that he rebelleth against God! For salvation com eth to none such except it be through repentance and faith o n the Lord Jesus Christ.
It reminded me of the sacrifice the Savior gave for us and that in whatever trial or difficulty we can find His helping hand. He has never and will never leave us to struggle alone. It's not His character. Trust in Him.

This week in el Campo:
Last week for PDay we went bowling.
Another sunset...
The picture doesn't do it justice but we had a huge dust/rain/hail storm. Proselyting in that was an adventure.
An almost successful day :)
I hope all is well dondequiera que se encuentre. We are always praying for y'all! I love and miss you!
