Looks Like Idaho

Hola queridos :)

This week, we experienced what can only be called, well, a very humbling week.

This week we struggled a lot with finding people to teach. When we finally found them, they didn't progress. Needless to say, I learned a lot about being humble and working hard. We learned that we need to do all we can and then the rest is in the Lord's hands.

This Sunday in Sacrament Meeting was pretty good. We sang Asombro Me Da and it just hit home. Under the hymn, it referenced a scripture in Mosiah 3 that I quite liked.

For behold, the time cometh, and is not far distant, that with power, the Lord Omnipotent who reignethwho was, and ifrom all eternity to all eternity, shall come down from heaven among the children of menand shall dwell in tabernacle of clay, and shall go fortamongst men, working mighty miraclessuch as healing the sick, raising the dead, causinthe lame to walk, the blind to receive their sight, and thdeaf to hear, and curing all manner of diseases.
And he shall cast out devilsor the evil spirits which dwell in the hearts of the children of men.
And lo, he shall suffer temptationsand pain of body, hungerthirst, and fatigue, even more than man can sufferexcept it be unto death; for behold, blood cometh from every pore, so great shall be his anguish for the wickedness and the abominations of his people.
And he shall be called Jesus Christthe Son of Godthe Father of heaven and earth, the Creator of all things from thbeginning; and his mother shall be called Mary.
And lo, he cometh unto his own, that salvation might come unto the children of men even through faith on his name; and even after all this they shalconsider him man, and say that he hath deviland shalscourge him, and shall crucify him.
10 And he shall rise the third day from the dead; and beholdhe standeth to judge the world; and behold, all these things are done that righteous judgment might come upon the children of men.
11 For behold, and also his blood atoneth for the sins of those who have fallen by the transgression of Adam, who have died not knowing the will of Goconcerning them, or who have ignorantly sinned.
12 But wo, wo unto him who knoweth that he rebelleth against God! For salvation cometh to none such except it be through repentance and faith othe Lord Jesus Christ.
It reminded me of the sacrifice the Savior gave for us and that in whatever trial or difficulty we can find His helping hand. He has never and will never leave us to struggle alone. It's not His character. Trust in Him.

This week in el Campo:

Last week for PDay we went bowling.

Another sunset...

The picture doesn't do it justice but we had a huge dust/rain/hail storm. Proselyting in that was an adventure.

An almost successful day :)

I hope all is well dondequiera que se encuentre. We are always praying for y'all! I love and miss you!
