A List of Blessings
Hola todos!!
This week went fairly well. We started the week well and went okay after we received the news of my companions foot. We spent this last weekend in the house. My companion tore a ligament in her foot and is a little delicate right now. We weren't able to walk all weekend. This week we were given permission to leave to walk to lunch and to our important appointments. minimal walking.
It was a little hard on me to hear that this last week and a half of my mission would be a lot harder for us to walk around and preach the gospel like I had been used to for the past 17 months. But I got to reflecting while we sat at home. I thought about my whole mission and what a blessing every single day has been, even the hard and difficult days that I didn't necessarily enjoy in that moment. I realized that every last moment had built up to my spiritual progress. I remember thinking how time passed slowly and I look back and realize how fast it truly did pass. I was glad that I could look back and see that I had tried my best and gotten better.
I am very thankful for the gift of repentance and that my mistakes I may have made don't have to live with me forever. I am so very grateful that I can learn from them and leave them behind. I have come to see life through an eternal perspective and to see God's hand daily. I am grateful that I have a more positive outlook on life.

here are some things the mission has made me grateful for and has taught me...
- repentance. it is honestly one of the greatest gifts God has given us.
- tacos. some of the best food out there
- the temple. I have learned that it is truly the house of the Lord. we are closer to Him there then in any other part of the world. we can receive answers to our prayers and feel peace and His love.
- the scriptures.
- my family.
-The power of a testimony
- the law of sacrifice brings blessings
-hot water is a luxury
-obedience brings joy
-public transportation can get real pimped out
-I can do hard things with the Lord's help
-My favorite convert is me!
- Even though the landscapes not the prettiest, Juarez has taught me the value of a promise and the importance of the gospel.
- and so many more...
long story short, imma miss Juaritos but i'm excited for what God has in store for me.
