This week, reflect on ways following Jesus Christ has brightened your life and discover a few more ways to light your faith.    As missionaries we are always out inviting others to light their faith, regardless of their religion, beliefs, past life, or current circumstance. That's what we invite you to do this week.    Serving with your family can bring you closer together, but serving your family members can bring the light of Christ into your own home. This week, focus on ways you can serve the people you love most.    The family is central to god's plan. He has always, and will always, cherish families. It is a place where we can find peace, tranquility, and support.  Being away from my family this Christmas is hard, but I have learned that there is no better place for me to be at this time of year. I'm helping those around me to come to the knowledge that there is an opportunity to be with their family for all eternity. For this, I'm so very blessed. i hope you all can recognize how important your family is. I hope you can thank them, cherish them, love them and serve them. God gave them to you for a reason. Hoy es casi el empieza de semana dos de ilumina el mundo! invitamos a todos ustedes a participar y traer a su communidad la luz de Cristo! It's the most wonderful time of the year to bring others to Christ!  Service doesn't just happen on a grand, global scale. Your own community is full of opportunities to get involved, make a difference, and give as Jesus gave.    This week, the focus is on your community! There are many ways in which you can serve those around you! When you serve those around you, keep in mind that you are serving the Lord in Heaven. Even if your service goes unnoticed by those on Earth, just remember that those in Heaven are watching and pleased to see a heart full of service. I encourage you to serve in nursing homes, visiting those who don't get to see their family at a time of year when family is so important. This week marks the beginning of December and for many people the beginning of Christmas. This week also marks the beginning of a program that I have grown to love dearly.   When this program first started, I immediately fell in love with it. It's such and easy way to remember the example of our Savior and grow closer to Him.  Jesus Christ, the Light of the World, spent much of His ministry caring for individuals, one by one. Join us this Christmas as we follow His example and find ways to share our time, love, and resources with those in need.  This week starts the first of four weeks of different ways to serve. The first week is to Light the World, to provide service to those in need around the world, no matter how far.
