This week marks the beginning of December and for many people the beginning of Christmas. This week also marks the beginning of a program that I have grown to love dearly.  

When this program first started, I immediately fell in love with it. It's such and easy way to remember the example of our Savior and grow closer to Him. 

Jesus Christ, the Light of the World, spent much of His ministry caring for individuals, one by one. Join us this Christmas as we follow His example and find ways to share our time, love, and resources with those in need. 

This week starts the first of four weeks of different ways to serve. The first week is to Light the World, to provide service to those in need around the world, no matter how far. I encourage you all to watch this weeks video and to visit the page www.mormon.org/christmas to find ways you can serve. I then encourage you to share what you've done first with your Father in Heaven and then on social media to #lighttheworld.
