Usted no es una persona de una quesadilla
Hola Queridos!
This week I learned two very important things.
1. Families can really be together forever and that information we have is precious and we should share it. Always.
This talk by President Hinckley is a very, very powerful one that I happen to love.
It talks more about the miracle and the wonderful gift that Christ gave us. Not only peace and comfort in moments of suffering but the promise of a resurrection. Through Him, we can also be sealed to our families for time and all eternity. Family is forever. It is a beautiful promise. It is not a lottery. It not oh if only. It is not fantasy. It is possible through the restored church of our Savior and Redeemer Jesus Christ. More than that, God wants us to reach that goal. He wants us to reach the eternal life together with our families. This is one of our favorite things to share with the people we teach. To see the eyes spark as they begin to realize that they too can have their family to be with them if they put in their part. If they do their best and follow the will of the Lord with all they heart, might mind and strength, it is guaranteed that they will make it back to the presence of our loving Heavenly Father together with their family. Give your loved ones some love this week
2. According to my companion, I am not the kind of person that eats just one quesadilla.
We went out to eat and had some pretty good quesadillas. As I sat wondering if I should buy another one, my companion so loving told me that I am not the kind of person that just eats one. jajaj I have learned that I really really like Mexican food
Could be a little dangerous to my health jaja. Long story short, I like quesadillas probably more than is healthy
Extending my commitment to you...
I hope that you all can take the time these next few weeks to prepare for General Conference in April. Think of personal spiritual questions you have. Write them down. Think about them often and listen for the answers the Spirit gives you I hope as you take time to do this and study them out, then listen carefully to the words the Spirit speaks to you, not the words being spoken but what the Spirit tells your heart, that you may find the answers the God needs you to apply in your life. I can promise you as a representative of Christ that you will find more peace, hope, joy and comfort. Listen and follow the words of the living prophet. They are the word of our Heavenly Father.
I love you all and wish you the best week the world can give you and that through the Gospel, you can make it even better!
Con muchismo amor,
Su Hermanita Thompson
