Welcome to Animal Kingdom

HOLA MIS AMORES :)

This week we had several interesting encounters with lots of animals. Well, in reality, it was just cats and dogs. But lemme keep the story good. 

This week, I almost got bitten by a dog and, needless to say, we now don't walk down that street in the afternoon. 

We had a visit from three different dogs in our apartment and my companion decided to try to rescue two different cats. ( But don't worry, all animals have been returned to the street shortly after we fed them  ) 

We have been a little sad because almost all of the people we are teaching have decided not to continue listening or are moving out of our area. However, we are seeing the Lord's hand in our work. We have been receiving references from the members of our ward and have found a few people that have potential to come to the knowledge of their Savior! We met a young man named Enrique. We met him in the park and found out that he likes to read. I offered to gift him a Book of Mormon and he accepted it. The next day we met with him and he had read a little bit. He seems very receptive and we are making progress with him. 

I love this work and I love this city :)
